Turning trash into treasure! 
Here are some ideas for using old junk and turning them into cool pot plant containers - like using old cooking steamers that have holes in them, and old baskets. So much fun seeing what you can turn items into. 

MATERIALS

• Old containers with holes in to allow for drainage
• String or wire to hang your containers
• Plastic bags
• Potting mix
• Sphagnum moss
• Plants such as pansies or polyanthus for winter flowering

INSTRUCTIONS

• For the basket, line this with the plastic bag and put some holds in the bag, the plastic will keep the potting mix from washing out when you water it. Then put in the potting mix and plant your plants.
• For the old steamers line with sphagnum moss then put in the potting mix then your plants. Tie a string hole to the handle and hang up where it can easily be watered and viewed.
